The Diamond Creek Cricket Club and the Riverside Cricket Club came together last weekend in the DVCA's Barclay Shield Semi-Final with one remarkable feat achieved by the Diamond Valley side.

Diamond Creek were bowled out by Riverside for a measly 127 off 75 overs with number four bat Joshua Adams top scoring with 35.

Diamond Creek got the early wicket of of Riverside opening batsmen Mark Doyle and the score was 1-2.

What happened next was extraordinary.

Diamond Creek went on to bowl 110 straight dot balls. That's 18.2 overs worth of balls that were not scored off. Diamond Creek opening bowler Michael Hansen went on to claim the impressive figures of 21 overs, 15 maidens, and 3/19.

For the record, the Diamond Creek managed to hold off Riverside and progress, bowling them out for 109 off 79.3 overs.
