Richmond great Kevin Bartlett is never short of a good word. Sometimes a bad word, but "KB" was at his antagonistic best when he announced his ladder for the upcoming season.
Bartlett says the noise surrounding Port Adelaide, Geelong and Collingwood, who are all favoured to jump back into the final eight after missing out last season, hasn't got the former Tiger fooled.
"A lot has been said about Geelong on the back of Patrick Dangerfield making finals. And Collingwood has had its tyres pumped by the Magpies propaganda machine. And Port Adelaide are making noises that they’re ready to leap into finals," Bartlett said.
"Those 3 sides don’t make my top 8. I’m not falling for all that bluster and hype. And Adelaide drops out from last years finals"
In true Bartlett style, he has backed his beloved Tigers to finish on top of the ladder, ahead of last season's premiers Hawthorn.
"Richmond, Hawthorn, West Coast, Fremantle, Western Bulldogs, GWS Giants, Sydney, North Melbourne.
Outside the top 8 – Adelaide, Geelong, Port Adelaide, Collingwood, Gold Coast, Melbourne, St Kilda, Brisbane, Carlton, Essendon.
"There you go, I’ve nailed it."
You fail to amaze us, KB.
