For a long time now, Uriah Hall has been compared to the Brazilian icon of MMA/UFC in Anderson Silva.
Now the two will meet, in Brazil at the Arena da Baizada in Curtibia, at UFC 198 on May 14.
The UFC 198 event will be headlined by a heavyweight title fight between champion Fabricio Werdum and challenger Stipe Miocic. While the co-main event of the night will be an all Brazil bout with Vitor Belfort and Ronaldo "Jacare" Souza will come to blows.
Mauricio "Shogun" Rua and Corey Anderson will also come together in a light heavyweight fight.
Silva dominated the UFC world, before it became the powerhouse that it is now, and still holds the title of the longest reigning UFC champion when he held the title from 2006 to 2013, before being beaten by Chris Weidman.
After a narrow loss to Michael Bisping in a decision loss in a Fight of the Night battle in February, Silva is looking to get back on the winners list.
Hall himself has made a name for himself, thrilling fans with his highlight reel moves that earned him a Performance of the Night knockout over Gegard Mousasi last year.
31 year old Hall will have the chance to take on one of the greats of the sport, in front of a hostile Brazilian crowd that is set to be right behind their hometown hero.
