Carlton coach Brendan Bolton has confirmed that number one draft pick Jacob Weitering will make his debut for the Blues in tomorrow night's opening game of the season against Richmond.
Weitering impressed for the Blues over the NAB Challenge in his two matches against Essendon and the Sydney Swans.
Playing mainly as a key defender, Weitering was taken with the first pick in the national draft last year, ahead of Brisbane's Josh Schache.

The 18 year old has been likened to Geelong star defender Harry Taylor, in which Weitering likes to drop off his opponents and play as a third man up and intercept the ball coming forward.
