West Coast are reportedly interested in signing suspended Essendon midfielder David Myers.

Myers is part of the 12 currently listed Essendon players that have been suspended by the Court of Arbitration for Sport after his involvement in the Essendon supplements program back in 2012.

Myers, who played just two games last season after suffering a shoulder and hamstring injury, is a unrestricted free agent at the end of the season, meaning that he can join the Eagles without the Bombers matching a big for him.

However, Myers has been offered a new deal by the Bombers, as have all the suspended 12 players

Fox Sports News understands that Essendon has been in talks with Myers' management and is quietly confident in retaining the services of the 26 year old West Australian midfielder.

All 12 players have been offered an extra year on their existing contracts to cover missing the 2016 season.

Midfielders Brent Stanton and Heath Hocking, as well as key defender Tayte Pears are also all unrestricted free agents at the end of the season.
