Speaking on his weekly spot on Fox Footy's On The Couch, Brown says a team should offer him a ten year deal worth $15mil.
“This bloke is a once in a 20-year player,” Brown said.
“Does a side have the confidence and I suppose the strength to offer Hogan $15 million over 10 years?
“I think that’s what it will take. It’s not ridiculous … the salary cap will go up as part of the next TV rights deal.”
Fellow panel member and former Hawthorn forward Jason Dunstall agreed with Brown's views.
“I think Jesse Hogan is the sort of guy you build a team around. If someone is bold enough, they can do something pretty special," Dunstall said
Brown also labelled Hogan the number one player in the competition under the age of 21, who Brown also had Patrick Cripps, Isaac Heeney, Marcus Bontempelli and surprisingly Jacob Weitering, who has played just the five games.
