Former Melbourne captain Jack Trengove must wait another week to make his senior AFL return after Paul Roos ruled him out for this weekend's game against the Power in Alice Springs.
Trengove has not played since Round 2, 2014 after suffering a navicular injury in his foot.
The 24 year old has managed to string together seven consecutive games in the VFL with the top of the table Casey Scorpions, which has seen him average 24 disposals and seven tackles so far.
Melbourne's first round draft pick from last year's draft, Clayton Oliver won't play this weekend after picking up an early corked thigh in the team's win against the Lions last weekend.
Oliver managed to play out the game, but has struggled at training all week.
Coach Paul Roos confirmed that Neville Jetta and Dom Tyson will return to the team to take on Port Adelaide.
Tyson was a late withdrawal due to illness last weekend while Jetta missed the big win against Brisbane through a one week suspension.
