The Western Bulldogs are reportedly interested in playing a home final at the MCG rather than at their home ground of Etihad Stadium.
The Bulldogs form at the Etihad Stadium this season has been nothing short of extraordinary, and despite losing four of their 11 matches at the ground this season, they've been competitive in all bar one, with the game against Geelong a blow out.
The Dogs have played just the two games at the MCG this season, winning both against Melbourne and Collingwood.
With a run home of North Melbourne, Collingwood, Essendon and Fremantle, the Bulldogs look set to at least finish in the top four or earn a home elimination final for next month's finals series.
Coach Luke Beveridge says he doesn't mind where the final is, but if he had a choice, it would be the MCG because "you need to win there if you're to win the flag," he said.
