Last year, we put together an 11 year ladder (which was meant to be a ten year ladder), highlighting the teams that have had a successful decade, and ones that have had a not so successful decade.

The ladder from last season saw the Cats comfortably ahead, however the Hawks are slowly but surely closing the gap from 100 points last year to 70 points this season.

Take a look at our ladder from last season here

Meanwhile, the Demons who have come on in leaps and bounds this season, with a recent win over the triple time reigning premiers Hawthorn, it's no secret that their past decade has been well below par.

For the Gold Coast Suns and the GWS Giants, we have taken their wins over their first six and five seasons respectively and taken their average wins and added them to the years before they were founded.

A reminder that the Crows and the Cats have played one less game than everyone else due to the passing of coach Phil Walsh during the 2015 season.
