Promising GWS Giants big man Rory Lobb could reportedly seek a shock trade back to his home state of Western Australia.

Channell 9 and reporter Damian Barrett is reporting that the 23 year old is considering a move back home, despite being contracted until the end of next season.

Both WA clubs have been monitoring his status with both clubs interested in adding strength to their ruck division.

Lobb has had a break-out year this season, sitting second behind Gold Coast's Tom Lynch in contested marks this season and has kicked 21 goals, playing second fiddle to ruckman Shane Mumford.
